PYGIO is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a large-scale enterprise technology project for one of our leading clients in South Africa.
You will be responsible for coordinating project activities, aligning technical and business stakeholders, managing timelines and dependencies, and ensuring that project objectives are delivered effectively.
This role requires a strong combination of project management expertise, stakeholder management, communication skills, and a solid understanding of technology environments.
Lead and coordinate end-to-end project delivery, from planning through to completion.
Define project scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including technical and business stakeholders.
Track project progress, identify risks and blockers, and drive timely resolution.
Manage project priorities and dependencies across multiple teams.
Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications.
Prepare project reports, dashboards, and progress updates for relevant stakeholders.
Ensure clear communication between business, technical teams, and project stakeholders.
Proactively manage project risks, issues, and changes.
Support effective resource planning and allocation.
Ensure project deliverables meet agreed quality, scope, and timeline requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery processes and ways of working.
Proven experience as a Project Manager in a technology or enterprise environment.
Experience managing complex projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and delivery processes.
Excellent stakeholder and communication skills.
Strong planning, organisation, and prioritisation abilities.
Experience managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and changes.
Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently while keeping stakeholders aligned and informed.
Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery environments.
Experience working on large-scale data, technology, or digital transformation projects.
Experience in financial services, insurance, healthcare, or other enterprise environments.
Relevant project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum certification.
Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Primetric or similar project management tools.
Experience working with distributed or international teams.
